Hopefully anyone that has been following us (sparingly) at michaelandbritmurdock.blogspot.com has found us here at mplusbequalslove.blogspot.com. I linked our last blog to an email address that I never use and it was becoming a bit troublesome!
Thanksgiving this year was just wonderful! Michael and I left from Provo when I got off of work on Wednesday, arriving in Vegas just in time for some high-quality shut eye! We woke up the next morning for a day full of family and turkey. Gramsy Lee, Uncle Dave, Mom, Joyce, and I spent our time cooking and playing games, while Dad and Michael spent their time splashing around in the pool - at 46 degrees. It all started off with a harmless squirt of the hose and before I knew it there were elbows being thrown, heads being locked, and boys in the pool. Dad squirt the hose - Michael took it to the next level. Nick is going to fit right in.
Speaking of Nick, his birthday is tomorrow and he should have been returning on MONDAY!! Because of his extension, however, he will be home in a mere 46 days. I am so excited to finally see his name on my caller ID and to relinquish my title as "wresting dummy." The return of my mom's emotional stability won't be too bad either ;-)
Overall, this weekend has been an absolute blessing. I am so grateful for my wonderful family and friends. The more time I spend in an environment of love with these people, I realize how lucky I really am.
